Taxi to Tamworth
Since February, the Parish Council have arranged for a taxi for residents needing transport to Tamworth for shopping and appointments.
This has run successfully on Tuesdays at 9.30 from Woodyard Drive and returning at 12.30 from St Editha's Church, Tamworth.
It has now been agreed by the Councillors to arrange another taxi on Fridays, with the same timings as above (the return trip time can be varied by agreement with the passengers and driver).
Those wishing to use the taxi are asked to confirm to Pat (at 5 Woodyard Drive) by the previous evening so that the correct size of vehicle can be ordered from Acorn.
Everyone is welcome to use the Tuesday and Friday taxis; if possible please donate £4 for each return trip so it is affordable for the Parish Council to run this service.

The Parish Council has organised two defibrillators for the village to be used to assist anyone suffering from a heart attack. One device purchased by the Parish Council has been installed at the front of the Village Hall. A second has been donated by the British Heart Foundation and has beeen located opposite the Black Horse car park.
Please first call 999 to be given a code to open the cabinet. Full instructions will be spoken by the device explaining how to use it until an ambulance arrives.
