Best Kept Village
Thank you to everyone who has been working hard to keep Edingale tidy and free from litter recently. The Judges for the Best Kept Village competition may visit the village at any time so please help by making sure there is no litter or dog waste. We have had more people than ever helping, including the school children, so let's all continue the good work and maybe Edingale can win this year!
Following the closure of the 82 bus service by Staffordshire County Council form March 31st, the Parish Council have been discussing alternative public transport with other local councils and bus and taxi companies. Please see below for details of a temporary service provided by the Parish Council.
The Parish Council has organised two defibrillators for the village to be used to assist anyone suffering from a heart attack. One device purchased by the Parish Council has been installed at the front of the Village Hall. A second has been donated by the British Heart Foundation and has beeen located opposite the Black Horse car park.
Please first call 999 to be given a code to open the cabinet. Full instructions will be spoken by the device explaining how to use it until an ambulance arrives.
You may never need it, but you could save a life!
Edingale village hall is run as a charity and by volunteers, if you can spare 1 hour to help at any event, can make cakes or donate a prize/contribution - please contact Louise on 383044.
We are planning an exciting and different range of events but desperately need committee members and volunteers (thank you to those that have volunteered so far), if you can help please let Louise or Jon know
